When will you be open?
We're open now! Stop by the taproom Tuesday through Saturday, or ask for our beer at our local restaurant and bar partners.
Where can I find your beers?
Find the closest location to you serving a VU brew here on our website. Don't forget to stop by and enjoy a fresh pint from the taproom, too — it's brewed just a couple dozen yards from your barstool! Take your favorite Veterans United brew home with you in one of our 64 oz. glass growlers, or 1/6 or 1/2 bbl kegs. Our HopBanshee IPA, Raging Blonde Ale, and Scout Dog 44 Amber Ale are now available in cans and may be found at many retail stores throughout Jacksonville. We also release small batches of interesting brews every month that are only available at the taproom. Check our calendar to see when the next one will be tapped.
Do you offer tours?
Yes! Our tours are pretty cool (if we do say so ourself) and include a guided tour of our brewery production area by our knowledgeable staff; a souvenir tasting glass; and three 4 oz. sample pours from our taps. The cost is $7. Minors accompanying a parent or guardian may join in on the tour for free. The tour is approximately 20 minutes and occurs each Saturday at 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, and 4:30pm. Please check out our calendar for the most up-to-date schedule.
Do you have a Mug Club?
Yes! Mug Club members get an assigned mug in the taproom that holds an extra four ounces of beer, they get access to special events, and they also receive special pricing on events and merchandise throughout the year. Inquire in the taproom about joining!
Is your taproom family-friendly?
Because we are primarily an alcohol-serving establishment, we do not have any child booster seats or changing stations. Minors are welcome inside, and we do sell Coke, Coke Zero, and bottles of water. We also have an array of board games available for checkout from the bar. We have one standard-height seating area that may more easily accommodate the younger guests; the rest of our tables are at bar height.
Minors may also accompany a parent or guardian on a brewery tour for free, so if you think they'd enjoy a lesson on the brewing process, by all means, bring them along!
Is your taproom dog-friendly?
We love dogs and welcome all well-behaved, leashed canines inside the taproom.
Non-service dogs are not permitted in the brewery production area. Please always curb your dog as a courtesy to us and the rest of your fellow beer lovers.
Will you serve food?
Our expertise lies in beer creation, so we leave all the baking and grilling to the food professionals. We will be partnering with food trucks during limited hours and you are welcome to bring in food into the taproom anytime to enjoy with our beer. Check out the food truck schedule on our calendar.
Do you have a patio / beer garden / outside seating?
Unfortunately, we do not have any outside seating at this time.
What is the Jax Ale Trail?
Veterans United Craft Brewery and six other Jacksonville breweries are all a part of a self-guided tour of the local craft beer scene here on the First Coast. Find out more about the whole shebang and how to win some neat prizes!
Will the taproom be available for private rental?
In addition to the taproom, we have an adjacent special events room for rental. Please contact us at email@example.com with any questions or requests for your event.
Do you have any merchandise for sale?
We have two styles of t-shirts available; two different car decals; a khaki cotton twill cap; a black mesh "trucker" cap; 4 oz tasting glasses; and 16 oz nonic pints. All items will have our logo. We are working on adding more merchandise and setting up an online storefront; but for now, please come in and check out our goodies in the taproom.
Do you have a TV so I can watch the game?
We prefer to chat with you about beer, Jacksonville, or the weather; but we do now have a TV in the taproom.
Are you hiring?
All of our current staff positions are presently filled. We will accept and keep on file cover letters and résumés for passionate people who may be interested in employment at our brewery and taproom. Please email your information to firstname.lastname@example.org for future consideration. Any new job opening announcements will be posted on this site and on Facebook. Keep checking back — you never know when an opportunity will pop up!
How do I contact you with additional questions?
Please email us at email@example.com
